Yoga for Insiya is about discovering the poetry contained in movement and stillness, just as in life where we are always surrounded by the rhythmic cycles of flow. Growing up in Bombay, India, Insiya discovered yoga at the early age of five mimicking her dad doing his daily headstands (sirsasana).
Insiya currently lives in Vancouver, Canada with her husband, fellow yogi Eoin Finn. She teaches primarily a challenging yet playful vinyasa yoga class, where you discover a connection to your breath, your body and your spirit. She encourages her students to explore their own insights and openings on the mat, offering suggestions with an emphasis on core- alignment and flow in an all levels format.
Insiya is grateful to her teachers, yogis Eoin Finn, Shiva Rea, Gioia Irwin and Ayurveda teacher Robert Svoboda. Community and the deep connection we hold for each other and towards our planet continually inspire her and she hopes to share her passion for evolution and life with her students.
